Does your congregation have all the vitality that
you think it should? Are people energized by welcoming new people and
new ideas? When you complete the enclosed “Church Vital-O-Meter”
survey, are all your responses in the top category? If not, the
Ready, Set, Grow Project may be ideal for your church!
This is a special project of the Missouri Mid-South Conference to
assist churches to engage the Congregational Vitality resources being
developed by the national UCC Evangelism Team.
It involves 3 steps:
1. Commit to explore possibilities for becoming a more vital
congregation.
2. Create a Local Church Team that will meet quarterly with other
church teams and consider ways to share and implement the vitality
materials within your congregation.
3. Develop ways in which the congregation can support and learn from
your Local Church Team about ways that will lead to more
congregational vitality.
