The Mission of the Missouri Mid-South Conference is to join together
as members of the United Church of Christ in Missouri, Arkansas, and
Memphis, Tennessee, to know and embrace God’s purposes, to proclaim
the Gospel of Jesus Christ and respond to God’s Holy Spirit with acts
of faith.
Relying on God’s Guidance, we will fulfill this mission by:
• Strengthening local congregational life for the building up of the
whole body of Christ and doing the good works of ministry.
• Listening to one another and improving communication within our UCC
family.
• Encouraging interrelationships with UCC ministries and ecumenical
partners.
• Evaluating our life together regularly to assess how we are
fulfilling our mission.
To this end, we dedicate our life together as the Missouri Mid-South
Conference.

The Missouri Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ is the regional office for 163 local congregations located in communities in Missouri, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. Within these congregations there are over 48,500 members. Local congregations provide for worship and education, service to members and their local communities. Congregations provide ministries of outreach, justice, and witness. Check with the
