At Camp Mo-Val, Union, Missouri
“Powerful Women, Awesome God”
"Powerful Women, Awesome God" was the theme for the
Missouri Mid-South Conference Women’s Retreat held May
2-4, 2008 at Camp Mo-Val in Union. Our keynote speaker was Rev. Dr.
Deborah Krause, Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament at Eden
Theological Seminary. The retreat planning team was made up of women
from Christ Church UCC in Maplewood, St. John’s UCC on Grand Avenue
and Zion UCC in Florissant. Activities included workshops, bible
study, good food, crafts, fellowship, rest, reflection and a few
surprises. All women and friends of the Missouri Mid-South Conference
are invited to come each year to this popular event. Below are a
